What is this tool about?
This self-evaluation tool allows schools to test their financial management arrangements against the
standards set out in the revised version of Keeping Your Balance, which was published jointly by the
Audit Commission and OFSTED in October 2000. It contains self-evaluation questions, good practice,
scored feedback tables and an interactive action plan.
To enter the tool you need to set up an account by entering your school's details and choosing passwords.
Then: 'Access for schools' button and 'Access for LEAs' button.
